Located in the upper San Francisquito Watershed within the foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains, this 1,400-acre preserve serves as part of an important wildlife corridor connecting the Pearson-Arastradero Preserve with the Los Trancos Open Space Preserve. Our focus is on enhancing wildlife habitat along the four miles of Buckeye and Los Trancos Creeks that flow through the park, as well as targeting stands of invasive plants scattered throughout the park. We work closely with the Friends of Foothills Park,  a group of dedicated volunteers that has been stewarding the park since 1995.
