In partnership with the City of Mountain View and Santa Clara Valley Audubon Society, Grassroots Ecology is working to improve wildlife habitat along Permanente Creek, including nesting habitat and forage for two special status species: the burrowing owl and the San Francisco common yellowthroat. This will build upon our past creek enhancement project just upstream at the Google campus, where we worked with volunteers to plant thousands of beneficial native grasses and flowers from 2012 to 2016.
