Restore and Rejuvinate: BIPOC Volunteer Workday at in Los Altos

  • Redwood Grove Nature Preserve 482 University Avenue Los Altos, CA, 94022 United States (map)

This volunteer workday is intended to be an affinity space for folks that identify as Black, Indigenous and/or People of Color (BIPOC) and will be led by staff that identify as BIPOC. If you do not identify as BIPOC, please refrain from registering for this event, and check out our other community events :)

Help us care for a small redwood forest habitat and rejuvinate ourselves! Volunteers should expect to work outside in a very peaceful setting, spending their time watering our native plants and connecting with their fellow BIPOC community members. We will spend the second half of our time together walking through the redwoods and learning about the local ecosystem.

Visit Grassroots Ecology’s Redwood Grove page to learn more about the ecosystem and accessibility considerations.

Waivers/Registration: All volunteers attending the workday must be registered individually and have approved the online waiver through this Eventbrite page. Youth under 18 must have their legal guardian approve the waiver on their behalf. Volunteers age 12 and under require an accompanying adult.
